Hi Dawn, brilliant interview, and so many great tips for outsourcing.
I’ve used the same ghostwriter you two have and she is excellent. I have also outsourced articles to other writers and they have been PANTS!
I think we probably all love the idea of outsourcing but aren’t sure about the details. This interview with Kathy helps a lot. Kathy gives all the highs and the lows!
I love the idea of having a consortium and outsourcing as a group. I guess there are only so many people who have enough work for a full time worker to themselves.
Enjoy the journey.

Hi Mandy
Kathy and I shared an outsourcer for a while because at the time neither of us had enough work for a full time person…
It worked for us and its a fab way of getting your foot in the door so to speak without having to invest all the money yourself.
I wander if theres any websites or anything that do shared outsourcing opportunities, I’ll ask Kathy!
Yep Pat’s good isn’t she and she even threw in submitting to article directories which was cool.
Hope you are well and let me know how that meet up went.

@Mandy Allen,
Mandy…I think those site that “rent” out their teams were essentially set up for that purpose. You buy so many credits a month and you use their team. No training or searching necessary.
Love to see how your blog is taking off…you have found your stride girl!

Hi Dawn,
Great piece of information. Reading the PDF file and listing along to the recording flows so easily.
Sometimes with other interviews it’s better to just read the PDF (if they have one) because you read faster than you can listen. Here, you guys got a great natural flow going between both.
Love the music. Who is your announcer? You guys made the whole thing a great enjoyable learning experience.
I like that Kathy points out the dark side of outsourcing so you know what can happen. The resources Kathy gives us are also a wealth of information.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Kathy Dobson is most definitely the go to person when it comes to getting the best in outsourcing information.

Hey Dawn, excellent interview, this is packed with a ton of outsourcing tips from Kathy.
I have always called Kathy the Outsourcing Queen because she is! if I ever needed outsourcing help she would most certainly be my first port of call.
Outsourcing has been a bit hit n miss for me, sometimes good sometimes not so good so when you find a good worker – keep them lol.
I do need to still outsource more, it’s hard to let go of tasks you know you can do yourself but perhaps shouldn’t be doing!
Need to stop having my finger in so many pies…lol.

@Sally,

Sally…that is the problem with most of us…delegating!
I still have that problem…because I want everything done my way…lol
At any rate…if you can conquer that and find the right people…you have a sure fire system for success.
Thanks for the kudos…what a support group

Great interview with Ms. Kathy. I enjoyed hearing more about outsourcing since I know that’s an areas Kathy has excelled in Dawn.
I’ve never outsourced any work accept maybe some graphics. I definitely am not good in that area at all.
I’ve never really needed a ghostwriter and I don’t think that I’ve ventured into anything that I couldn’t do myself. Of course, I didn’t have the money when I first started out but most of the technical stuff I was able to figure out on my own. Not that I really had the patience for all of it but I have the drive and determination to figure it out.
I’ve heard about outsourcing in the Philippians and have actually been on a few webinars that introduced this to us but you have to pay to be on a site just to locate someone. I was also told that a lot of the people you hire you would have to train them to do what you needed. I wouldn’t mind hiring someone who could do some extra work for me that would free up more of my time. I’ve just never known where to go to be honest with you.
But I sure appreciate what you’ve shared with us today Kathy and Dawn, wonderful interview again. You are such the pro now.
Hope you ladies have a wonderful day.

Hello there Ms Dawn,
Love the opening intro.
Great listening to Kathy’s tips for outsourcing. It really can save a lot of time and frustration, while one can then concentrate on your own expertise.
It certainly is a grilling process getting the right person. Perhaps Kathy has built up a nice list of contacts, so she’d be a good referrer there.
What was the squeak in the background? Kids, husband or dog?
Thanks Dawn and Kathy for sharing.

Hey Dawn,
I started listening to the interview – but ended up reading most of the ebook due to time restrictions.
But, I remember when Kathy wrote about this on her blog a year or two ago and still the thought of paying someone just for trying out, doesn’t really fly with me…guess it is because of lack of funds.
I am working on something at the moment and I really could use some help in areas, so will definitely check out that search engine. I have had good luck with Fiverr until recently, had some problems – took me almost a month to get the right person…think they get too busy or something, I don’t know…that was really frustrating.
Anyway, appreciate the ebook and interview and huge thanks to Kathy for the free eBook – will be reading that next
Hope you are doing well!
